Procurement Manager

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Procurement Agent, you will be a vital part of the procurement and logistics team for Instrumentation and Analytical products within the Process Automation and Measurement Analytics Group in Bartlesville, OK. Your role involves supporting the wider business by ensuring all purchasing activities comply with corporate policies and procedures while providing relevant market insights.

This is a hybrid position based in our Bartlesville, OK office, contributing to the Process Automation Division in the United States. Your main responsibilities will include:

  1. Initiating Purchase Orders in the system based on requisitions, aligning with standard procedures, and confirming delivery with suppliers, while monitoring and tracking supplier performance.
  2. Negotiating agreements with key suppliers, renewing price lists, and managing terms and conditions.
  3. Recommending and executing frame agreements upon management approval.
  4. Analyzing bids to determine the best value for the company.
Qualifications for the Role
  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM or Business is strongly preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in supply chain roles, such as a buyer, preferably in manufacturing for the oil & gas industry.
  • Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems, Microsoft Office, Lean Six Sigma, and negotiation strategies.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, solution-oriented approach.
  • Experience in contract negotiations.
  • Must have valid work authorization to work in the US for ABB.
