Job summary

Emerson Electric is seeking a procurement support professional to manage purchase orders, amendments, and supplier communications. You will assist buyers, generate reports, and help maintain data for spend analysis across a regional/global scope.

The role emphasizes strong English communication, collaboration with SCM, Finance, and Legal teams, and a hybrid work setup with travel opportunities across the region. Relevant B.Com. (MBA preferred) and procurement experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: B.Com.
• Preferred: MBA and 7 years validated experience in procurement.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Build all types of purchase orders in Emerson system upon requests from procurement engineers.
• Amend and revise PO line items.
• Support procurement engineers with expediting vendor deliveries.
• Assist with stuck transactions by coordinating with IT.
• Extract and format open and closed PO reports from the system and circulate to concerned parties.
• Identify overdue open POs and take action to close them.
• Provide and maintain data for SCM team for spend analysis, benchmarking, and scorecards.
• Perform DDQ and CVDH activities for new vendor registration in Emerson system.
• Follow up with SCM, Finance, and Legal for DDQ & CVDH approvals.
• Collaborate with Project Admin, Project Managers, procurement engineers, and Stores team to complete all amendments of order types.

In this role you are encouraged to generate all kinds of orders, understand the Procure to Pay cycle, generate open and close order reports, and support buyers on queries regarding orders.
