Job summary

Fortune-Johnson LLC is seeking a Procore Specialist to serve as the company’s Procore expert and primary admin across projects. You will drive adoption, standardize workflows, and improve reporting while supporting ERP integrations and day-to-day platform needs.

The role blends construction operations with technical expertise to improve project execution through Procore. Strong Excel and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of commercial construction experience (multi-family preferred).
  • 2+ years administering or supporting Procore.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction workflows.
  • Experience supporting Project Management and Financial Management modules.
  • Excellent communication and training skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Job description

Position Summary

The Procore Specialist serves as the company's subject matter expert and primary administrator for the Procore construction management platform. This individual is responsible for the ongoing administration, optimization, support, and continuous improvement of Procore across all projects.

Working closely with Operations, Project Management, Field Teams, Accounting, Safety, and Executive Leadership, the Procore Specialist will drive platform adoption, standardize workflows, improve reporting, support ERP integrations, and ensure project teams are leveraging Procore to its fullest potential.

This role combines construction operations knowledge with technical expertise to improve project execution through technology.

Essential Responsibilities
Procore Administration
  • Serve as the company's primary administrator and internal expert for Procore.
  • Configure and maintain company standards, templates, permissions, workflows, field sets, and project setup.
  • Manage user accounts, security, and company-wide governance.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across all active projects.
Project & Field Support
  • Support Project Managers, Superintendents, Field Engineers, Project Engineers, and office staff in their daily use of Procore.
  • Configure and maintain all Procore modules that the company uses.
  • Assist with project startup, execution, turnover, and closeout.
Training & User Adoption
  • Lead onboarding and ongoing Procore training for office and field personnel.
  • Create user guides, SOPs, videos, and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot user issues and provide day-to-day support.
  • Promote consistent company-wide adoption of Procore standards.
Reporting & Integrations
  • Develop dashboards and reports that provide visibility into project health, cost, schedule, productivity, and operational performance.
  • Maintain and support integrations between Procore and ERP/accounting systems such as Sage 300, Sage Intacct, and other business applications.
  • Work with IT and software vendors to improve system connectivity and data flow.
Continuous Improvement
  • Evaluate new Procore functionality and recommend enhancements.
  • Identify opportunities to automate processes and reduce administrative effort.
  • Develop standardized workflows that improve consistency across projects.
  • Participate in strategic technology initiatives supporting construction operations.
Qualifications
Required
  • 3+ years of commercial construction experience (multi-family preferred)
  • 2+ years administering or supporting Procore
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction workflows
  • Experience supporting Project Management and Financial Management modules
  • Excellent communication and training skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Preferred
  • Procore Certified Administrator (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
  • Experience with Bluebeam, Excel, SQL
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
