Job summary

TaylorMade Golf Company is seeking a Warehouse Shipping Associate in Evansville, IN. You will pull product from totes, place it in outbound cartons, and ensure proper nesting, packing materials, and labels for a high-quality customer experience.

Responsibilities include data entry for shipping labels and packing lists, affixing labels, and performing value-added services. You may lead training and ensure safety, cleanliness, and accurate orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ months of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse or similar field preferred.

• Pull product from conveyor totes and place in outbound cartons.
• Ensure contents are nested and packed correctly with proper materials and labels.
• Identify proper shipping cartons using standard work for order presentation.
• Enter data into computer terminals for shipping labels and packing lists; affix labels to cartons.
• Perform value-added services (VAS) such as price ticketing, inserts, and labeling requirements.
• Complete container audits by following pack-out standards.
• Confirm cartons are sealed and labeled with proper documentation.
• Follow safety practices and maintain a neat, orderly work area.
• May lead/train employees in assigned standards of work as designated.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for tasks associated with a specific section of the warehouse operation involving retrieving product from totes, fulfilling value added service per customer requests, and nesting product in outbound cartons. Part of this process is preparing the product and carton for an elevated customer experience that presents a commitment to excellence and a high standard. The position’s key responsibility is shipping outbound cartons to ensure the quality and accuracy of carton contents, label placement, and shipping documentation are met.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:

• Pull product from conveyor totes and place in outbound cartons
• Ensure that the contents of each shipping carton is nested properly and packed out correctly, using correct packing materials and shipping labels
• Understand outbound order requirements pertaining to packaging and identify proper shipping cartons using standard work for desired presentation.
• Accurately enter data into computer terminals to prepare shipping labels and packing lists; Affix labels to cartons and ensure that packing lists are in cartons
• Perform customer value added services (VAS) such as price ticketing, adding inserts, and labeling requirements.
• Complete audit of each container by following pack out practices as defined in the detailed standard work.
• Confirm cartons are sealed correctly and have proper shipping labels and documentation
• Conduct all tasks in accordance with satisfactory safety practices.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
• May be required to lead/train employees in adequate standards of work, as designated by management.
• Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

• Fluent verbal and written English communication skills required.
• Demonstrated adherence to scheduled work hours with punctuality and timeliness.

Education, Work Experience, and Professional Certifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ months of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse or closely related field is preferred

Work Environment / Physical Requirements:

• Normal warehouse conditions
• Able to climb, stoop, bend, carry, manually wrap and package golf-related products
• Able to work various shifts and/or extended hours as necessary
• Able to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Able to lift up to 50lbs
• May be exposed to extreme temperature conditions
• Able to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption
