Job summary

TaylorMade Golf Company in Evansville, IN, is seeking an auditor to verify outbound shipping cartons for quality and label accuracy. You will inspect cartons on the outbound line, verify contents and label placement, and document findings in the Audit Form.

You will also record results in a computer system, maintain a clean work area, and may train teammates as needed. The role requires attention to detail, punctuality, and ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with flexibility

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ months of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse or closely related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Audit outbound shipping cartons to verify contents, tape and label placement.
• Complete audits following the detailed standard of work.
• Document accuracy (SKU and count) and errors using the Audit Form.
• Record and track each audited carton in the computer system and scanner.
• Follow safety practices and keep work area neat and orderly.
• May lead/train teammates in standards of work as designated by management.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Job description

This position is responsible for auditing outbound shipping cartons to ensure quality and accuracy of content and label placement.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:

• Pull cartons from outbound conveyor to inspect contents and the quality of the carton, the tape and the label placement.
• Complete audit of each container by following audit practices as defined in the detailed standard of work.
• Document the accuracy (including SKU accuracy and count) and errors found during audits using the appropriate Audit Form.
• Record and track each audited carton using computer system and scanner.
• Conduct all tasks in accordance with satisfactory safety practices.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
• May be required to lead/train employees in adequate standards of work, as designated by management.
• Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

• Fluent verbal and written English communication skills required.
• Demonstrated adherence to scheduled work hours with punctuality and timeliness.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring the integrity of documentation and order preparation.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple, concurrent processes.
• Ability to carry out assigned tasks with little or no supervision.
• Basic computer skills, including warehouse data entry systems and Microsoft Office products.

Education, Work Experience, and Professional Certifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ months of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse or closely related field is preferred

Work Environment / Physical Requirements:

• Normal warehouse conditions
• Able to climb, stoop, bend, carry, manually wrap and package golf-related products
• Able to work various shifts and/or extended hours as necessary
• Able to stand for prolonged periods of timey>
• Able to lift up to 50lbs
• May be exposed to extreme temperature conditions
• Able to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption
