Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking a Processor, Trainee in Sparta, Tennessee for a 12hr-A Shift. You will operate injection/blow molding machinery to produce plastic bottles and perform periodic machine checks, with quality checks and paperwork completed for the quality system.

Responsibilities include safe operation, making adjustments, dislodging jams, defect inspection, and collaboration with Quality Control to meet standards. Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of machine operating experience
• Plastic molding experience preferred
• High school degree or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Operate injection/blow molding machinery to produce plastic bottles.
• Make machine adjustments using controls and hand tools.
• Dislodge jams and inspect products for defects.
• Monitor machine controls to ensure correct process.
• Complete required quality system paperwork in a timely manner.

The Processor, Trainee is responsible for operating injection/blow molding machinery to facilitate the production of plastic bottles, and for completing periodic machine and product checks.

Responsibilities Handle and operate any machinery, tools or equipment used safely while performing job duties. Make machine adjustments as needed with the assistance of buttons, controls, and hand tools. Dislodge jams in machinery as needed Inspect of products and boxing, must have a good eye for defects Monitor machine controls to ensure proper process Work cohesively with Quality Control to ensure quality standards are being met Complete required paperwork for departments quality system Conduct periodic machine and product checks.

• Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.

Requirements:

1+ years of machine operating experience Preferred: High school degree or equivalent Plastic molding experience
