Job summary

Lonza is seeking a Formulations Processor II to support hard capsule production. You will prepare high-quality materials meeting strict specifications and help ensure safe, reliable manufacturing processes.

In this role you will blend ingredients, monitor process indicators, and use sampling and controls to maintain product quality. Shifts are 12 hours on night rotation, with weekend and holiday work as scheduled.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to perform calculations with percentages, decimals and fractions.
• Experience with precision weighing and measuring equipment.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and process monitoring.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work extended hours and variable shifts.
• Commitment to safety, quality, attendance and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Blend defined ingredients into master batches following strict specifications.
• Monitor process indicators and take immediate action when deviations occur.
• Use statistical controls, inspections, and sampling to ensure product quality.
• Maintain high standards for safety, cleanliness, and GMP compliance.
• Complete accurate production and batch records as required.
• Work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays, as scheduled.
• Support and back up other Formulations Processors as needed.
