Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers, Inc. in Valdosta, GA is seeking a Retail Associate – Processor. This part-time role averages 20-25 hours per week and requires availability Monday through Sunday, typically between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. EST.

You will be hired as a Retail Associate—processor with cross-training to learn and work in all areas of the retail operation. The position offers a path to growth within a mission-driven organization committed to developing people and communities.

Qualifications

• Average math skills.

• Prior experience working in a retail or customer service-related environment is preferred.
• Warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Processes and sorts donated goods in a rapid but accurate manner.
• Stocks the store shelves in a neat and orderly manner.
• Rotates merchandise on a color-coded system.
• Identifies quality donation. Ensures donations are promptly priced, processed, and transported to the sales floor.
• Achieves production goals and outcomes based on quality and quantity of donations.
• Works other areas of the store as requested by the leadership team.

Part-Time

The Valdosta retail store on St Augustine is looking for a hard-working and dedicated Retail Associate – Processor.

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers, Inc.’s Retail Associate – Processor responsibilities:

• Processes and sorts donated goods in a rapid but accurate manner.
• Stocks the store shelves in a neat and orderly manner.
• Rotates merchandise on a color-coded system.
• Identifies quality donation. Ensures donations are promptly priced, processed, and transported to the sales floor.
• Achieves production goals and outcomes based on quality and quantity of donations.
• Works other areas of the store as requested by the leadership team.

You will be hired as a Retail Associate—processor; however, you will be cross-trained and expected to learn and work in all areas of the retail operation.

A part-time position averages 20-25 hours per week. Hours will fluctuate based on business needs (e.g., seasonal changes, donation volumes, etc.). Operating days will fluctuate based on store location. The Retail Associate—Processor must be available to work any shifts Monday through Sunday; however, this position typically works between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. EST.
