Job summary

Goodwill Industries of San Diego County is seeking a Processing Worker I to sort, clean, price and stock donated goods and to assist on the sales floor. You will accept donations and provide excellent customer service to donors and customers.

In this role you will open/close donations area, safeguard donations, help load/unload trucks, and support the team with merchandise stocking and general duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Processor experience preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of recent experience or GISD program graduation.

Responsibilities

• Sort, Inspect, clean, price and tally donations produced for sales floor.
• Pushes racks and carts to retail floor and assists in stocking the floor and pulling merchandise.
• Opens and closes donations area. Accepts and safeguards donations and keeps processing and donation areas in a clean, safe and organized manner.
• Provides excellent customer service to donors and customers.
• Assists truck helpers and drivers to load/unload trucks.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
