Job summary

Sazerac is hiring a Processing Technician in Lewiston, ME to help keep our production lines running by blending, batching, filtering, and preparing products for bottling. You will work on a 2-2-3 schedule with Day and Night shifts, following approved formulas and SOPs to meet safety and quality standards.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and at least 2 years of manufacturing experience, plus the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, processing, or batching environment.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience with processing, batching, or blending operations preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, or food/beverage manufacturing standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate blending, batching, filtering, and transfer processes according to approved formulas, SOPs, and production schedules.
• Monitor inventory, tank readings, bulk receiving, and documentation to support accurate production and lab approvals.
• Maintain compliance with safety, food safety, quality, GMP, and environmental standards while keeping work areas clean and organized.
• Support operational goals by helping improve efficiency, reduce waste, and collaborate across departments to meet production targets.
