Job summary

Kettering Health Main Campus in Kettering, OH is seeking a Processing Tech I (Full-Time, Second Shift) to support instrument processing in the sterile supply chain.

You will perform decontamination, assembly, sterilization and distribution of surgical instruments according to infection control standards, ensuring safe patient care. HS Diploma or GED required; certification within 12 months; prior experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Picks instruments, instrument trays, supplies, in a timely matter for surgery.
• Performs basic computer functions using a Windows based system as needed.

Responsibilities & Requirements

The Processing Tech I supports patient safety and quality care by performing essential tasks in the decontamination, preparation, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment. This role ensures all instruments are processed according to established infection control and regulatory standards, contributing to reliable operations and positive patient outcomes. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.
