The Processing Supervisor plays a pivotal role in supervising and coordinating processing operations, directly contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of plant operations. This position supports the Processing Manager in leadership initiatives and projects aimed at enhancing plant operations, employee training, and performance.
This position operates within a food processing facility-like environment, characterized by exposure to industrial equipment, chemicals, and temperature variations. Employees will encounter heavy machinery sounds and are required to frequently stand, walk on uneven surfaces, lift, and perform manual tasks, demanding physical stamina. Comfort around animals and familiarity with agricultural machinery is essential. The work environment includes exposure to typical farm conditions such as dust, odors, and noise. Flexibility is crucial, as the role may
necessitate availability for on-call duties and emergency situations outside standard hours. Adherence to safety protocols and biosecurity measures is paramount to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.
