Job summary

Dieffenbach’s Snacks is seeking a Processing Operator for the Bethel, PA production line. The role is full time and involves hands-on work, feeding raw potatoes, operating the peeling station, and maintaining a steady product flow. You will collaborate with the team to keep lines running efficiently in a warm, noisy environment.

Ideal candidates are quick, detail-focused, and comfortable working around machinery. Prior forklift experience is a plus; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a warm, noisy production area.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and stay active for 12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Unload raw product and load into hoppers for peeling.
• Run the peeler station in the basement and monitor performance.
• Sort defective product and foreign materials before they hit the line.
• Communicate with kettle operators to stay on track with production.
• Manage hopper levels to ensure a consistent product flow.
• Operate conveyors and other powered equipment safely.
• Monitor raw material quality and uphold food safety guidelines.
• Clear waste bins and prep area for next shift.
• Fill out logs and required paperwork accurately.
• Report equipment issues or product concerns to the right team.
