Job summary

Utz Quality Foods is seeking a Processing Operator for the 3rd shift at our Goodyear, AZ facility. Shift is Monday to Friday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, with some Saturdays as needed. You will operate extrusion and other processing equipment, monitor efficiency, and assist QA for product quality.

Responsibilities include setting up equipment, recording logs, assisting with sanitation, and training new team members. Prior experience in manufacturing or food production is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to work Monday to Friday on a night shift (11:00 PM–7:00 AM).
• Comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment around processing equipment.
• Capable of lifting up to 70 lbs safely.
• Willingness to follow written procedures, safety, and quality standards.
• Attention to detail and ability to complete production logs accurately.
• Good communication and teamwork to support production flow.

Job description

Utz Quality Foods is looking to grow our loyal, career driven, and customer focused team and is currently recruiting for a Processing Operator - 3rd shift to work from our manufacturing facility located in Goodyear, AZ.

Shift hours are Monday to Friday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, with some Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor extruders, sheeters, mixers, and/or otherprocessingequipment used to produce tortilla chips.
• Keep production running smoothly by monitoring equipment and making adjustments as needed.
• Partner with the Quality Assurance team to complete quality checks and ensure products meet our standards.
• Retrieve, stage, and prepare raw materials needed for production.
• Accurately complete production logs, records, and component usage entries.
• Clean and sanitizeprocessingequipment according to established procedures and sanitation schedules.
• Communicate withprocessingand packaging team members to maintain a consistent production flow.
• Help train and support new or less experienced team members.
• Follow all safety, food safety, and quality procedures and report concerns when identified.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and participate in daily housekeeping and sanitation.
• Operate forklifts and high-reach equipment as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and production needs.

Requirements

• Ability to safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 70 lbs.
• Willingness to work around hot water, cleaning chemicals, and wet or slippery floors.
• Ability to follow written procedures, safety requirements, and food quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately complete production records.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn multiple pieces ofprocessingequipment and take on additional responsibilities.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate forklifts and high-reach equipment.
• Previous manufacturing, machine operation, food production, orprocessingexperience is a plus.
