Job summary

Snackruptors Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator to join our production team in Pennsylvania. You will set up and operate snack production lines, adjust settings for pellet quality, monitor equipment, and help maintain safety and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities include quality inspections, changeovers, and coordinating with maintenance for repairs. This role requires adherence to GMP, HACCP, and food safety practices while contributing to efficient, high‑quality production.

Qualifications

• Set up and operate the machinery according to production specifications.
• Adjust machine settings to comply with the current specifications for pellet quality.
• Operate fryers, pellet and seasoning equipment.
• Monitor the machine during operation to detect issues and take corrective actions.
• Complete equipment and area cleaning as needed.
• Select the correct processing parameter formula and set the machine controls accordingly.
• Work under the direction of the production supervisor and consult the production schedule to determine the item scheduled to run.
• Make independent judgments related to machine function, use common tools as needed, and communicate with Quality and Maintenance staff.

The associate’s primary functions and responsibilities are as follows:

Machine Operation:

• Set up and operate the machinery according to production specifications.
• Adjust machine settings to comply with the current specifications for pellet quality.

Quality Control:

• Inspect finished product for quality, ensuring they meet specifications
• Identify and address any defects or inconsistencies in theMaintain records of production output and quality
• Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense

• Understand HACCP and Food Safety principles and verify compliance to all Critical Control points and Preventative Quality Checkpoints to ensure a safe quality and product is produced consistently.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to minimize
• Coordinate with supervisor and the maintenance team for more complex repairs or
• Perform changeover including removal of all guards, tensions, rollers

Safety and Compliance:

• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working
• Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry

Material Handling:

• Load and unload bins onto the machine using appropriate lifting
• Conduct the mixing and loading of ingredients into the
• Ensure materials are handled and stored properly to prevent damage or
• Maintain appropriate levels of mixed raw materials.

Efficiency and Productivity:

• Work closely with the production team to meet daily and weekly production
• Optimize machine operation to reduce waste and maximize
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operation.

Working conditions

• Work indoors.
• May be exposed to hot temperatures from ovens.
• May work close to others, usually within a few feet.
• Compliant with ventilation, cleanliness, space, lighting, and temperature.

Physical requirements

• Standing involved.
• May repeat the same movement.
• Often wear safety equipment such as gloves, hair nets, steel toed safety shoes/boots and beard nets.
• Ability to bend or twist their body.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
