Our Processing Laboratory Lab Assistants prepare blood donor samples for testing, perform quality control testing, and provide support to the Bench Techs to help ensure the right product gets to the right patient. They also prepare components, release and label products, and prepare products for shipping.

This is a FT/30+ position working Noon-8:30 p.m. on Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday with rotating holidays. The role may require working varied hours including days, evenings, and weekends.

New team members are expected to train Monday through Friday for several weeks.

What does it take to change the world?

  • Very detail-oriented with great accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required; previous work in the medical field is preferred.
  • Associate’s Degree or Medical Assistant Degree is preferred.
  • The ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Pre-employment background check and drug screen are required.
