Continental in Mount Vernon, IL seeks a TT Processing Floor Supervisor to oversee the safe, efficient operation of the Commercial Processing Department and coordinate scheduling and inventory for staff, machines, and materials.

The role emphasizes safety, productivity, and quality, with reporting duties and a focus on maintaining a compliant work environment. Shifts may include evenings and weekends in a non-climate controlled setting.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate's Degree or 5 years of experience in manufacturing supervision.
• Experience overseeing scheduling, inventory, and safety in processing environments.
• Proven ability to meet safety, productivity, and quality goals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates scheduling and inventory activities for employees, machines and material.
• Responsible for filling out the required reports, paperwork and checks.
• Maintain communication with employees and management concerning departmental and plant issues.
• Ensuring that all department employees have safe and productive working environment.
• Conducting safety talks, audits, and meetings with the department employees.
• Responsible for meeting and exceeding all departmental goals for safety, productivity, and quality.
• Responsible for meeting individual goals which are agreed upon with the management group.
• Ensure all ESH procedures, policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored.
