Job summary

Greencore USA is seeking a role to support the PD & Process team in launching new products and processes, and to prepare factory documentation for trials and initial production. The position involves ensuring product quality and compliance with safety standards during line trials and scale‑ups.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Supports PD & Process team in launching new products and processes.
  • Prepares factory documentation for trials (scale up, raw materials, trial docs).
  • Attends and supports factory trials and initial production runs to maintain product quality levels.
  • Ensures line trial outputs are documented with adherence to food safety, quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Involved in assessing equipment capability to align process standards with requirements to drive improvements.
  • Performs organoleptic review and analysis to help determine shelf life of products.
  • Reviews factory data in readiness for launch and prepares analytical information.
  • Prepares factory documentation for launch.
  • Contributes to team effort by applying leadership and active participation.
  • Management retains discretion to modify duties as needed.

Job description

To carry out all relevant manufacturing projects to deliver process development and line trials successfully, the position supports the PD & Process team in launching new products and processes.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Supports PD & Process team in launching new products and processes.
  • Responsible for preparing factory documentation trials (scale up, requesting of raw materials, trial docs)
  • Attend and support factory trials and initial production runs as needed to maintain product quality levels.
  • Ensure the output of all line trials are fully documented with adherence to food safety, quality standards and customer requirements are met
  • Involved in the assessment of equipment capability to ensure that process standards are in line with company and customer requirements to drive improvements
  • Organoleptic review and analysis to help determine shelf life of products
  • Data review of factory information in readiness for launch
  • Preparing analytical information for launch
  • Preparation of factory documentation for launch
  • Contributes to the overall team effort by accomplishing related tasks and by applying leadership skills and active participation.
  • Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of the position at any time.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, Food Technology, Food Manufacturing or related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and Advanced Excel are essential to be successful.
