Job description

Whether you're early in your career or bring years of industrial experience, you'll play a key role in operating pilot-scale equipment, supporting new process development, and helping transition innovative technologies into commercial production.

Placement at the I, II, or III level will be based on experience and technical background.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor pilot-scale processing equipment and production systems
• Inspect equipment, collect operating data, and record production information
• Assist with equipment startups, shutdowns, changeovers, and routine maintenance
• Troubleshoot mechanical and process-related issues to minimize downtime
• Follow operating procedures and maintain a safe working environment
• Work alongside engineers and operations personnel to improve process performance and equipment reliability

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, chemical processing, mining, industrial maintenance, refinery operations, or similar technical environments
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to safely operate industrial equipment
• Experience troubleshooting pumps, valves, piping, filtration systems, or related process equipment is a plus
• Ability to accurately document operating data and follow established procedures
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Technical training, military experience, or an associate degree is beneficial

Preferred Experience

• Pilot plant or process development operations
• Chemical, metals, or mineral processing
• Forklift or other powered industrial equipment experience
• Continuous improvement or process optimization initiatives
