Job summary

Powerex is seeking a technician to support development of manufacturing procedures and new products. You will assist engineers, perform material prep, assemble devices, and conduct diffusion, electrical, and physical tests.

Responsibilities include evaluating equipment, documenting results, and helping improve yields by adjusting process parameters. Prior experience or ongoing study in electronics/engineering tech is valued.

Qualifications

• Requires 30 credits toward an AS degree or pursuing an AS degree in electronics or engineering technology.
• 1 year of manufacturing experience or 6 months in related processing techniques with Powerex.
• Military training considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing or evaluating new procedures and products.
• Perform experiments to increase yields and modify distributions by adjusting process parameters.
• Record data, plot charts and report results to supervisors.
