Here’s the Gist:

This position provides process sustaining support in an automated semiconductor production environment, focusing on Metrology. This position will work a 12-hour Back End Night shift with a "3on-4off-4on-3off" alternating schedule: Wednesday through Friday, and every other Saturday, from 6 pm to 6 am.


The Day-to-Day:

  • Work closely with the Engineering team to develop and qualify new processes and tool sets, including characterizing, documenting, and possibly presenting data based on design of experiments (DOE).
  • Report and document process issues and equipment malfunctions. Take corrective actions and interact with Process Engineers & Equipment Maintenance to resolve non-conformance issues.
  • Handle material dispositions and work to resolve any lot issues that may arise.
  • Assist in creating new procedures and refining existing ones.
  • Collaborate to achieve quarterly yield and cycle time goals.

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):

  • Associates degree OR at least 1 year of experience in a technical role.
  • Ability to work in ISO 5 (class 100) clean room for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs frequently, and stand or walk most of a shift.
  • Ability to communicate complex work instructions (verbal or written), observe performance to specifications, and provide feedback to ensure knowledge transfer.
  • Learn basic semiconductor physics and chemistry principles to understand process effects on manufactured products.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Access.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, or move around the work location for extended periods (up to 11 hours).
  • Experience operating machinery and/or assembling products using hands.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. to chest height.
  • Comfortable wearing PPE (e.g., cleanroom suits, eye protection, gloves).
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions involving fingers, hands, and wrists, including standing or walking on hard surfaces and climbing ladders.

This role may include additional duties as assigned by management.

The posted salary range is an estimate; actual pay will depend on qualifications and experience. If a different job level is warranted upon hire, that range will be communicated accordingly.

Compensation Range: $18.40 - $25.30
