Job summary

Snap-on Incorporated is seeking a skilled environmental technician to monitor wastewater streams and plating processes, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local regulations. The role includes maintaining chemical inventories, permits, and performing routine water quality checks.

You will calibrate pH/ORP instruments, inspect tanks and filter presses, and contribute as a team lead within the waste treatment department, coordinating with safety and operations to uphold environmental

Qualifications

Requires high school diploma and applicable electroplating knowledge.
Experience with wastewater treatment and regulatory compliance.
Certification or coursework in electroplating preferred.
Ability to lead a team and perform inspections.

Responsibilities

Comprehensive monitoring of waste streams to ensure regulatory compliance.
Monitor plating processes and ensure standards are met.
Maintain chemical inventories and permits.
Calibration and maintenance of pH and ORP equipment.
Lead the waste treatment department as a team lead.
Attend training to stay current on regulations and complete additional duties as required.
Ensure water reuse quality and conduct regular inspections of storage and pits.
