About the position:

The Process Technician III performs daily chemical and fabrication processes in a research lab setting. Responsibilities include organizing and maintaining parts inventory, fabricating minor assemblies, guiding component use, and contributing to chemical batch data collection. The ideal candidate will have high attention to detail, strong problem-solving and communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and a focus on safety.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute batch processes within the research environment
  • Handle chemical materials safely and properly
  • Follow batch run sheets accurately in collaboration with scientists and engineers
  • Operate electronic and process equipment within the lab and facilities
  • Participate in the Technician Certification Program
  • Wear appropriate PPE such as fire-resistant clothing, steel-toed shoes, nitrile gloves, and respirators
  • Work collaboratively in a team-based setting

Shift: Wednesday to Saturday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma with 6 months to 2 years of work experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Fine motor skills for precise material handling
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and versatile
  • Ability to multitask with attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to lift objects under 48 pounds
  • Ability to remain stationary for most of a 10-hour shift

Preferences:

  • Experience in chemical manufacturing
  • Knowledge of safety practices and OSHA standards
  • Wastewater processing experience
  • Familiarity with ISO-9001 and GMP guidelines
