Job summary

Reynolds Consumer Products is hiring a Manufacturing Specialist 2 for our plant, working a 12-hour night shift on a 2-2-3 schedule. You will optimize production lines, troubleshoot advanced equipment issues, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years progressive manufacturing experience in a low-to-mid level operator or technician role.
• Preferred associate degree in technical/manufacturing field.
• Experience supporting injection molding or thermoforming is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, troubleshoot, and optimize manufacturing processes to meet safety, quality, and production objectives.
• Lead start-ups, changeovers, and process adjustments for stable, efficient operations.
• Maintain standardized parameters for consistent product quality across shifts.
• Diagnose complex issues and implement actions to reduce downtime and improve performance.
• Provide technical guidance and coach technicians and operators.

We currently have an opportunity for a Manufacturing Specialist 2 at our Manufacturing Plant in CITY, STATE.

NIGHT DAY ROTATING SHIFT HOURS

6:30PM-6:30AM in a 2-2-3 schedule

(12 Hour Shift)

Responsibilities

The Manufacturing Specialist provides advanced technical support to manufacturing operations by optimizing production processes, resolving complex equipment and process issues, and improving operational performance. Partners with production, maintenance, engineering, and leadership to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent manufacturing while supporting quality, productivity, and continuous improvement objectives. Exercises considerable independent judgment in troubleshooting, process optimization, technician development, and production support to maximize equipment effectiveness and operational reliability.

Manufacturing Operations

• Operate, set up, troubleshoot, and optimize manufacturing processes to achieve safety, quality, and production objectives.
• Lead production start-ups, equipment changeovers, and process adjustments to ensure stable and efficient operations.
• Establish and maintain standardized process parameters that support consistent product quality across shifts.
• Diagnose and resolve complex manufacturing and equipment issues to minimize downtime and improve operational performance.

Continuous Improvement

• Drive improvements in overall equipment effectiveness, process capability, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions that reduce variability and improve productivity.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation that supports standardized work and process consistency.
• Evaluate production performance and recommend process enhancements that improve safety, quality, and throughput.

Technical Leadership

• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to production technicians and operators.
• Train and coach employees on manufacturing processes, equipment operation, safe work practices, and standardized procedures.
• Partner with supervisors and engineering to identify recurring issues and develop sustainable process improvements.
• Communicate production issues, process performance, and improvement opportunities with cross-functional teams.

Safety & Compliance

• Promote a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with established safety policies, procedures, and manufacturing standards.
• Maintain accurate process documentation and support compliance with quality and operational requirements.

Education/Experience

Requirements

Required

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of progressive manufacturing experience in a high-level operator or technician role.

Preferred

• Associate degree in a technical or manufacturing-related field.
• Experience supporting injection molding or thermoforming manufacturing operations.
