The Process Technician is responsible for setting up, optimizing, and maintaining injection molding equipment to produce high-quality plastic components. This role serves as a technical leader on the production floor, mentoring junior technicians, troubleshooting process issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of injection molding processes, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Ensure smooth execution of daily assembly operations, meeting safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets. Monitor performance through KPIs and proactively drive process optimization and productivity improvements. Lead and develop your team through coaching, feedback, and performance management. Align and visualize production results at the shift level (e.g., performance boards, KPI reviews). Ensure optimal staffing and qualification-based deployment of employees. Initiate and support actions related to staffing, restructuring, and disciplinary measures if required. Actively contribute to strategic and operational planning, including CAPEX and personnel budgets. Support audits and lead internal and external complaint handling. Participate in project initiatives related to standardization, investment, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with SCM, Facility Management, and Maintenance for preventive and corrective measures. Take responsibility for special projects and additional tasks as needed.
