Prysmian is seeking a Process Technician for injection molding to safely start up, shut down, and troubleshoot during production runs, including setting up machines and changeovers. JOB SUMMARY: The Process Technician for injection molding is responsible for the safe start-up, shut down, and troubleshooting of the Injection molding process during normal production runs. In addition, to setting up injection molding machines and changeovers. Work includes the collection and analysis of production and quality data to perform problem solving and facilitate continuous improvement to production and purchasing.
The physical demands and working conditions requirements indicated below are examples of the demands that must be performed in carrying out the essential job functions.
Standing, sitting, walking, use of central and peripheral vision, and hearing (up to continuously); speaking/verbal communication, bend/stoop, twist neck and torso (frequently); reach, hold, grasp, push, pull, lift/carry raw material, finished product, tools and machinery up to 50 pounds (frequently).
Work indoors and outdoors; exposure to temperatures commensurate with outdoor seasonal temperatures.
