Job summary

Hyve Solutions Corporation is seeking a Process Technician III to set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment, including SMT, AOI, and reflow ovens, ensuring efficient production and high-quality output. You will troubleshoot complex issues, optimize parameters, maintain equipment, and mentor junior technicians while adhering to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced electronics environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Process Technician in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably electronics assembly.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment, including SMT, AOI, and reflow profiles.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to perform complex troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using common hand tools and measurement equipment.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a variety of manufacturing equipment, including SMT machines, AOI systems, and reflow ovens.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics on equipment and processes to minimize downtime and maximize throughput.
• Set up and adjust process parameters according to engineering specifications and production schedules.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and tooling.
• Monitor production processes to identify deviations from standards and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to optimize manufacturing processes, improve yields, and reduce waste.
• Participate in the development and implementation of new processes and equipment.
• Train and mentor less experienced technicians on equipment operation and process procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of production data, equipment maintenance, and process adjustments.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards.
• Contribute to root cause analysis for production defects and implement effective solutions.

Job Summary

The Process Technician III at Hyve Solutions Corporation is responsible for the setup, operation, monitoring, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and processes to ensure efficient production and high-quality output. This role involves troubleshooting complex issues, optimizing process parameters, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Operate and maintain a variety of manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to, surface mount technology (SMT) machines, automated optical inspection (AOI) systems, and reflow ovens.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics on equipment and processes to identify and resolve issues, minimizing downtime and maximizing throughput.
• Set up and adjust process parameters according to engineering specifications and production schedules.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and tooling to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Monitor production processes to identify deviations from standards and implement corrective actions.
