Qualifications

• Typically three+ years of injection molding Process Technician experience or equivalent.
• Ability to independently set molds, start machines, establish stable processes, and troubleshoot defects.
• Experience with robots, cranes, mold heaters, and material-handling systems.

Responsibilities

• Independently complete mold changes, machine startups, job changes, and version changes across assigned equipment.
• Analyze molding conditions and adjust parameters to restore process stability.
• Troubleshoot mold heat, thermocouple, water, hydraulic, material, and robotics issues.
• Download, save, edit, and validate machine and robot programs per change-control requirements.
• Use meters, diagrams, and process data to isolate problems.
• Coach Level I technicians on standard work, safe changeovers, and troubleshooting methods.
• Recommend improvements to reduce scrap and shorten changeovers.
• Monitor machines and respond to process-related issues to reduce downtime and scrap.
• Start up and adjust machines to ensure product quality.
• Perform mold changes, insert changes, and date-code verification per procedures.
• Set up and operate auxiliary equipment and robotic handling equipment.
