Job summary

Plastipak Packaging, Inc. in Woodbridge Township, NJ is seeking a Process Technician to operate extrusion and blow-molding equipment in a clean, climate-controlled facility. You will monitor and adjust settings to produce high-quality rigid plastic containers and perform routine maintenance.

Night shift 6:30pm–7:00am on a rotating 3-2-2-3 schedule, with pay of $24.50+ per hour and a comprehensive benefits package. This is a full-time associate position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Manufacturing Process Technician in high-volume production.
• Working knowledge of extrusion or blow molding equipment is preferred.
• Hydraulics, pneumatics & electrical mechanical basic knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Operate top-of-the-line extrusion & blow-molding equipment in a clean, safe & climate-controlled environment.
• Monitor equipment and adjust settings (heat control, water cooling temps, hydraulic pressure, etc.) to produce high-quality rigid plastic containers.
• Troubleshoot equipment & perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Ensure Plastipak customer requirements by performing quality checks for bottle weights & dimensions.
