Job summary

Stonhard in Maple Shade, NJ is seeking a Production Batch Maker to stage and prepare raw materials for multiple production batches.

You will maintain clean, safe batch and packaging areas, operate packaging equipment, and use scanners and basic computer tools, while coordinating with supervision and QA.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 2 years of related experience; chemistry coursework is preferred, and the company offers solid health and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years related production experience, including 1 year as batch maker.
• College chemistry coursework is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stage and prepare raw materials for production batches.
• Maintain orderliness and cleanliness in batch making and packaging areas.
• Communicate low material levels to supervision.
• Develop knowledge of batch making and packaging processes.
• Maintain good relations with Quality Control.
• Report spills, leaks, malfunctions, hazards, accidents, near misses and shortages to supervisor.
• Make batches and operate packaging equipment efficiently.
• Handle scanner and basic computer operations.
• During downtime, work on the line assigned by supervisor for training or operation.
• Assist in hazardous waste handling under management guidance.
