Job summary

BroadBean is seeking a Direct Labor associate to handle mixing and packaging of in-process and finished goods. The role emphasizes safety, material staging, and maintaining clean work areas in a production setting.

Responsibilities include coordinating raw materials, operating packaging equipment, and communicating material levels to supervision. A high school diploma or GED is required, with chemistry coursework preferred for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Chemistry coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stage and prepare all raw materials for production batches.
• Maintain orderliness and cleanliness in batch making and packaging areas with safety emphasis.
• Communicate low levels of raw materials to supervision.
• Develop working knowledge of batch making and packaging processes.
• Maintain good relations with Quality Control.
• Structure batch making process and optimize switchover sequences.
• Report spills, leaks, malfunctions, safety hazards, accidents, near misses and shortages to Production Supervisor.
• Operate packaging equipment and use a scanner; perform basic computer operations.
• When idle, rotate to line assigned by Production Supervisor for training or operation.
• Assist in hazardous waste handling under supervision.
