Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a manufacturing technician to assist in plant production and quality assurance, ensuring machine performance, safety and quality while enabling efficient set-ups and automation use.

The role requires strong problem-solving, teamwork, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision; fluent English and good communication are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to react quickly and adapt with people and assets.
• Troubleshoot operating and related process equipment and propose solutions.
• Evaluate design proposals and implementation.
• Maintain process documentation.
• Compile and evaluate test data to determine limits and variables for specifications.
• Be a creative, organized self-starter with minimal supervision.
• Good interpersonal skills in a cooperative environment.
• Awareness of Occupational Health and Safety Act and good manufacturing practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Must be able to read and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in plant production and quality assurance while maximizing machine performance, safety, and quality.
• Efficient machine set-ups.
• Optimizing the use of automation.
• Assist in changeovers and preventive maintenance, as required.
• Conducts machine/material testing, as required.
• Maintains a safe work environment.
• Provide ongoing technical support to plant operations to ensure safety, productivity, quality and delivery performance for the plant.
• Support Plant Earnings Improvement Program (EIPs).
• Complete machine start-ups, as changes are completed, including submitting start-up parts to QC for inspection.
• Adjust processes as required to maintain dimensions to specifications.
