Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a hands‑on technician to perform active alignment and module box build assembly in a cleanroom environment. You will align components, assemble modules, and conduct testing to ensure product integrity for X3 module assemblies.

Preferred candidates bring 0–2 years of related hands‑on experience, soldering skills, and familiarity with IPC standards; college or equivalent training is required with certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years hands-on experience in wire bonding, die attach, optical alignment/edge coupling, fiber splicing, die polishing, or electro-optical box build.
• Soldering skill is required.
• Experience in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Proficiency with microscopes, inspection tools and precision hand tools; IPC workmanship standards familiarity (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001 preferred).

PURPOSE:

- To increase the cleanroom capacity for new customer and its X3 module assembly

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES / DUTIES:

• Perform product active alignment and module box build assembly, and testing.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

PREFERRED Qualifications:

• * Minimum 0-2 years hands-on experience in one or more of: wire bonding, die attach, optical alignment/edge coupling, fiber splicing, die polishing, or electro-optical box build.
• * Soldering skill
• * Experience working in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment
• * Proficiency with microscopes, inspection tools, and precision hand tools
• * Familiarity with IPC workmanship standards (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001 preferred)

Education or Training:

• College or equivalent required
• Associate's degree or technical certification in electronics, optics, or manufacturing technology preferred
• On-the-job training or vocational training in microelectronics assembly, fiber optics, or photonic packaging acceptable
