Position: Process Technician
Location: Hartselle Wood Reels
Pay Rate: $25.60 - 30.74 + $1.50 Shift Diff
Shift: 3rd Shift, 10p-6a with some OT

Job Summary:
Produces paperboard reels by winding large rolls of paper into smaller diameter rolls.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operating heavy machinery such as cranes, forklifts, and hoists to move materials around the facility

• Monitoring the quality of product and adjusting the production process accordingly

• Assisting in maintaining safety standards and sanitation practices at the plant

• Helping to ensure efficient operation of all production lines through preventative maintenance and repair of equipment

• Troubleshooting issues on the production line and making necessary repairs or adjustments

• Communicating effectively with other team members to coordinate efforts and achieve goals

• Maintaining accurate records related to production levels, product quality, and inventory management

• Working collaboratively with supervisors and managers to resolve problems and improve processes

• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing waste

• Adhering to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements throughout the manufacturing process

Qualifications:
• Ability to read/write English and do basic math.
• High school diploma or college degree for Process Technology/automation
• Previous manufacturing experience required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Good communication skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently.
