Ventek Solutions is seeking a highly skilled & safety-driven candidate for a Process Technician position at our Mt. Pleasant, TN facility. Applicants should possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills, working collaboratively with the Maintenance & Molding teams to promote a safe and productive environment.

Job Description

Reporting to the Molding Manager, as a Process Technician, your responsibilities include ensuring safety for yourself and colleagues, and maintaining operational efficiency.

1. Ensure work area safety and proper use of PPE (personal protective equipment).
2. Maintain 5S housekeeping standards consistently across all areas.
3. Participate in shift handoff meetings to review special instructions, mold change lists, and press schedules.
4. Make sound decisions regarding priorities, modifications, and cost control, focusing on scrap reduction and efficiency.
5. Demonstrate troubleshooting skills and technical aptitude to analyze tooling, processes, and machines to resolve issues.
6. Accurately document and communicate data related to processes and quality.
7. Check pressure tanks for proper programming and material readiness during mold changes.
8. Operate machines efficiently, maintaining minimal cycle times while ensuring quality.
9. Review CQS sheets daily for procedural updates and inspect molded parts for weight and dimensional accuracy when required.
10. Adjust press cycle times, replace fill guns, knockouts, bead bags, or pressure tanks as needed.
11. Perform minor maintenance on molding presses, checking for leaks in air, oil, water, and steam systems.
12. Assist in training new employees on quality standards, machine operation, and safety protocols.
13. Must be able to lift over 75 pounds.
14. Possess basic computer literacy.
15. Perform additional duties as directed by supervisors.
16. Forklift experience is beneficial but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Shift: 3rd Shift - 10 pm to 7:30 am, Monday to Thursday
