Description

Purpose: The Process Technician is responsible for start-up and troubleshooting of existing jobs and the direction of workstation set-up and effectiveness. The role aids in determining process ability to establish the largest process window while meeting customer specifications and profitability.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform all duties of Set‑Up Technician
• Interact with all departments to recommend, implement and follow‑through processing problems and maintain optimum process conditions
• Operate machine start‑up and shutdown of plastic injection molding machines
• Communicate with shift personnel for continual equipment effectiveness and reliability
• Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non‑conformities relating to product, process and quality systems
• Assist in training of Set‑Up Tech personnel
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements

Work Experience:

• Minimum one (1) year knowledge and experience in Process Technician position
• Minimum one (1) year knowledge and experience in Set‑Up Technician position
• Working knowledge of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment
• Working knowledge of process troubleshooting and mold setting
• Must be able to work 3rd shift

Educational Requirements
