Job summary

Vergent Products is a Loveland, Colorado-based producer of electro-mechanical products. We seek a full-time Process Technician for 2nd Shift (M-F 3:15pm-11:45pm) to support manufacturing floor operations and collaborate with process engineering to improve processes.

You will act as the first line of defense for parts and machine issues, work with planning/materials to ensure schedules, and help implement best practices to boost quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• AAS or equivalent experience in manufacturing, electronics or electro-mechanic discipline.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in teams
• Demonstrated success in process improvements.
• Working knowledge of electronics product assembly (PCBA and/or product level) and general manufacturing techniques.
• Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Production support for all processes and equipment in the machine center.
• P&P program maintenance and active alternate for P&P program creation.
• AOI program creation and ongoing maintenance of AOI programs.
• Reflow profile selection and maintenance; new profiles developed by Process Development.
• Develop and update work instructions and process flow; implement best practices.
