Responsibilities

• Compliance with EHS policies and procedures.
• Take responsibility for your actions and avoid risks to yourself, others and the environment.
• Complete tasks and maintain training on all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including Allergen Management, Kosher, Halal and Non‑GMO policies.
• Report incidents, defects, hazards and procedural inadequacies for review and corrective action.
• Suggest improvements and support general system and method enhancements to ensure safe, environmentally responsible, reliable and cost‑effective operations.
• Diagnose, operate, correct and manage outcomes of complex processing systems (mechanical and chemical) using a real‑time ERP system (OS PI).
• Deliver effective hand‑over to the incoming team through verbal and written communication (logbook).
• Perform safety‑related duties: writing permits, safety audits, monthly training topics and daily safety messages.
• Produce quality products and record all information in process quality assurance tests, taking corrective action for deviations.
• Conduct environmental checks per permits to ensure compliance.
• Maintain a clean work environment in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Learn all aspects of Technical Process Operation via a progressive training program and demonstrate proficiency.
• Train other technicians.
• Perform basic maintenance duties and assist maintenance team when directed.
• Monitor control centers, review information, make independent and informed decisions, and operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or higher preferred; minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of industrial manufacturing experience preferred.
• Rotating shift experience preferred.
• Basic mathematics, reading comprehension, and problem‑solving skills (evaluated using the WorkKeys Test).

Physical Requirements

• Lifting up to 55 pounds without mechanical assistance.
• Climbing a vertical ladder up to 15 ft and several flights of stairs multiple times per shift.
• Stand for up to 1 hour without sitting.
• Perform bending and twisting motions at the waist and knees.
• Work a rotating shift schedule with flexibility for alternate schedules as needed.
• Facility is 100 % tobacco‑free (includes vapes and smokeless products).

Shift System

We operate 24/7/365 with rotating day and night shifts. Shift schedules are fixed, allowing long‑term planning. Overtime opportunities are available to increase earnings.
