Job description

We are searching for a full time, direct hire Process Technician with plastic injection molding experience for an opportunity in Hollidaysburg, PA.

The pay is $26/hr and up based on experience and knowledge.

The shift is M-TH 4:30P-3A.

Responsibilities

• Set up molds and hoses with forklifts, start-up and troubleshooting of the injection molding processes related to machines and raw materials.
• Be responsible for another technician on the shift.
• Guarantee all auxiliary equipment is in good running condition, such as temperature controllers, pumps, hopper loaders, and tank systems.
• Adjust equipment as needed, to ensure processes run efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and correct problems with machinery and processes.
• Control all plastic raw materials inventory.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Two or more years of Supervisory Experience.
• Must have 2+ years of Injection Molding Processor experience.
• Knowledge of injection molds.
• Forklift and Lift Truck Operator Certification required (training can be provided but certification must be achieved within 30 days).
• Ability to operate power and hand tools.
• Quality inspection experience.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and ability.
