Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a Process Technician to support plastics manufacturing operations. You will monitor injection molding, extrusion lines, and related processes, ensuring they run efficiently and meet quality standards.

Regular inspections, deviation handling, and quick corrective actions are expected to keep production on track. This role collaborates with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to implement validated changes, analyze process data, and drive waste

Qualifications

  • AAS degree or related technical discipline required; mechanical/manufacturing engineering preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong computer skills with MS Office and ability to multi-task efficiently.
  • Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail and problem solving in manufacturing settings.

Job Summary: A Process Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of manufacturing processes, contributing to the overall success of the organization. Responsible for ensuring that the approved process design and standards for Plastics Manufacturing are implemented and sustained.Job Duties & Responsibilities:Process Monitoring:Monitor and control manufacturing processes to ensure they are running efficiently and meeting quality standards. These include injection molding, vibratory welding cell and extrusion line.Conduct regular inspections and checks to identify deviations from established parameters and take corrective actions.Quality Assurance:Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet specifications.Collaborate with quality control teams to implement corrective actions and improvements.Process Optimization:Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to implement validated process changes.Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.Training and Development:Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.Share expertise with colleagues and contribute to the development of the team.OL Employee Training and DevelopmentConduct assessment to identify training needs and skills gap with OL employees.Collaborate with shift supervisors to understand specific team or individual training requirements.Conduct training sessions for employees, utilizing effective and engaging instructional methods.Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate and up-to date.Data Analysis:Partner with manufacturing and process engineers to collect and analyze process data to identify trends and areas for improvement.Generate reports detailing process performance and provide recommendations for optimization.Safety Compliance:Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.Equipment Maintenance:Perform routine maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal functionality.Collaborate with maintenance teams to troubleshoot and address equipment malfunctions promptly.Job Qualifications:AAS degree or related job experience, in a technical discipline; mechanical or manufacturing engineering preferred.Must be legally authorized to work in the United StatesMust be able to lift to 50 lbs.Strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office applications.Strong multi-tasking skills.
