Job summary

Saras Micro Devices is a startup focused on innovative power delivery solutions. We seek a Process Technician to perform electrical measurements on electronic devices, execute tests across multiple stages, and ensure proper test setups in a cleanroom environment in Chandler, AZ.

You will document data, adhere to SOPs, support maintenance, and collaborate with Engineering and Operations to refine test procedures and improve yield and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED and basic understanding of cleanroom processes.
• Experience performing electrical tests and following detailed SOPs in a semiconductor setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical measurements on electronic devices per approved test plans and work instructions.
• Execute testing across multiple stages: incoming, in-process, post-reflow, post-reliability, final test.
• Ensure proper sample handling, fixturing, and test setup to prevent damage or measurement error.
• Document process data, deviations, and corrective actions accurately.
• Follow cleanroom protocols, gowning procedures, and contamination control standards.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations teams to improve test procedures.

Perform electrical measurements on electronic devices in accordance with approved test plans, specifications, and work instructions

• Execute testing across multiple test stages (incoming, in-process, post-reflow, post-reliability, final test).
• Ensure proper sample handling, fixturing, and test setup to prevent damage or measurement error.
• Perform basic equipment checks, calibrations, and troubleshooting to ensure reliable measurements.
• Troubleshoot and elevate equipment or process issues to reduce downtime and yield loss

• Execute tool setups, recipe changes, qualifications, and process validations as directed
• Document process data, deviations, and corrective actions accurately
• Follow cleanroom protocols, gowning procedures, and contamination control standards
• Support preventative maintenance and equipment changeovers
• Contribute to development or refinement of test procedures, work instructions, and best practices.
• Collaborating with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations teams
• Comply with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
• Execute reliability and stress tests such as thermal cycling and reflow as required
• Collaborates cross-functionally with engineering and manufacturing teams and is cross-trained to support multiple areas as business needs require

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or a cleanroom environment
• Ability to follow detailed SOPs, process flows, and safety procedures
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience performing electrical testing on passive components (capacitors, inductors, or similar devices). (Insert)
• Familiarity with electrical parameters such as capacitance, ESR, DCR
• Experience operating electrical test equipment such as LCR meters, impedance analyzers, curve tracers, and power supplies.
• Experience recording and managing test data using Excel, databases, or manufacturing execution systems.
• Understanding basic equipment calibration concepts and measurement repeatability.
• Ability to identify data anomalies and elevate potential issues to engineering.

• Proficiency in executing electrical tests on capacitors and inductors, including capacitance, ESR, DCR.
• Accurate and consistent data collection with strong attention to detail.
• Strong adherence to test procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements.
• Ability to recognize abnormal data trends and elevate issues appropriately.
• Working knowledge of Excel for data entry.
• Ability to set up, verify, and maintain test equipment readiness.
• Dependable in meeting schedules, priorities, and commitments.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment for extended periods
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
• Must wear required PPE and follow gowning procedures
• Ability to work multiple shifts, including evenings or weekends, as required by business needs.
