**Position Summary**

The Process Technician is responsible for installing molds, developing process parameters, supporting validation activities, and troubleshooting production issues for new and existing tooling.

**Responsibilities**

1. Utilize scientific molding principles to establish capable processes for new and existing tooling.
2. Execute validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) compliant with FDA regulations.
3. Troubleshoot technical issues and lead root cause/corrective action investigations.
4. Support Operational Excellence by identifying and executing initiatives that improve performance.
5. Provide technical coaching and feedback to production employees and support teams.
6. Ensure complex molds are installed and removed according to setup sheets and instructions.
7. Inspect molded parts using basic metrology tools and equipment.
8. Ensure no production time or yield is lost due to faulty setup.
9. Serve as a resource for Setup Technicians.

**Qualifications**

1. High School Diploma or GED.
2. 3 years of injection molding experience, including setup, cleanroom, medical polymers, and small-micro molded components.
3. Understanding of polymer rheology.
4. Ability to troubleshoot using root cause analysis tools.
5. Knowledge of various plastic injection molding machines and secondary operations equipment.
6. Ability to read and interpret quality plans and work instructions.
7. Strong communication skills.
8. Experience with part prints.
9. Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
11. Attention to detail and organizational skills.
12. Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, prioritize, and multitask.
