Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Mechanical Engineer - Process Systems for a fast-growing fusion-based technology company. You will prepare design packages, specifications, drawings, test plans, and calculations for systems such as off-gas processing, uranium handling, and waste processing, including piping and tank design.

The role requires a Bachelor's in mechanical engineering and 5+ years' experience, with expertise in ASME B31.3 and related tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering required.
5+ years of mechanical engineering experience; tank and piping design strongly preferred.
Knowledge of ASME B31.3 Process Piping Code and ASME Tank design.
Experience with AutoCAD Plant 3-D, SolidWorks, AutoPipe.
Fire protection knowledge, NFPA 801 is a plus.

Responsibilities

Prepare and issue design packages, specifications, drawings, test plans, calculations and quality classification forms for systems.
Contribute to off-gas, uranium handling, waste processing and related piping/tank projects.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure design integrity and compliance.
