Job summary

Delaware Mobile Signings LLC is seeking part-time process servers to deliver legal documents across Delaware. Flexible schedule, part-time hours, and room to grow in a role requiring reliability and discretion.

You will personally serve documents, log details, and use our software to track progress. Prior experience is helpful but training is provided; a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver legal documents personally or leave with a responsible adult as allowed by Delaware law.
• Make multiple attempts at varying times and log each attempt with date, time, and address.
• Track updated addresses when provided information is outdated.
• Complete affidavits of service accurately and legibly.
• Log activity through our case management software and mobile app.
• Meet deadlines for returning paperwork, whether completed or not.

Job Title: Process Server — Part-Time

About the Role

Delaware Mobile Signings LLC is hiring part-time process servers to join our team, delivering legal documents on behalf of our clients across Delaware. This is a great fit for someone who wants steady part-time work with a flexible schedule and room to grow.

What You'll Do

• Personally deliver legal documents to the individual named, or leave them with a responsible adult at the residence, in accordance with Delaware law
• Make repeated attempts at varied times of day when the first attempt doesn't succeed, and log the date, time, and full address of each attempt
• Investigate and track down updated addresses when the one provided is outdated or incorrect
• Complete and sign required affidavits of service accurately and legibly
• Log all activity through our case management software and mobile app
• Meet turnaround deadlines for returning completed and non-completed paperwork

What We're Looking For

• Must be 18 years of age or older (Delaware law requirement)
• Cannot have any personal, financial, or family connection to a case you'd be serving
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
• Smartphone (iOS or Android) for logging jobs in the field
• Available for flexible/variable hours, including evenings
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Calm, professional, and courteous under pressure
• Prior process serving, courier, delivery, or law enforcement/legal experience is a plus — not required. We'll train you.

Pay: $16.00–$18.00/hour to start, based on experience, with room to grow as you take on more responsibility
