Job summary

Diasorin in the United States is seeking a Process Scientist for Reagent Preparation and Coating to support diagnostic manufacturing. You will prepare reagents, coat particles, and work with SAP to manage materials while ensuring compliance with GMP, ISO, and internal quality standards.

This role collaborates with Quality, R&D, and Engineering to support tech transfer, validation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or related field, required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or related field, preferred
  • Proficiency in laboratory techniques including reagent preparation, filtration, and coating.
  • Basic knowledge of general lab equipment (e.g., pipette, rotator, stir plate, centrifuge; etc.)
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

  • Prepare reagents including System Liquid and QSET according to SOPs and batch records.
  • Perform spiking, dilution, and filtration of reagents to meet product specifications.
  • Execute particle coating procedures to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Utilize SAP for ordering materials and consumables, processing returns for inventory materials, releasing work orders, and kitting out materials for manufacturing use.
  • Support validation builds for new products and process changes.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards in the RP and Coating labs to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Participate in cross-functional improvement teams to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, and internal quality standards.
  • Collaborate with Quality, R&D, and Engineering teams to support tech transfer and troubleshooting activities.

Job Scope

The Reagent Preparationand Coating Scientistis responsible forthe preparation and processing of reagents and coated particles used in diagnostic manufacturing. This role supports production operations, quality control, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory standards.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Prepare reagents including System Liquid and QSET according to SOPs and batch records.

  • Exposuretochemicals and biological materials.

The salary range for this position is $61,000 - $70,000 Annually. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. Beyond base salary, Diasorin offers a competitive rewards package focused on your overall well-being.
