Job summary

Lilly, headquartered in Indianapolis, is seeking a Process Safety Management technical resource for the Engineering Technology Center. You will partner across engineering and operations to ensure pressure relief, mechanical integrity, and hazard evaluations meet Lilly standards.

The role requires a chemical/engineering background, 8+ years in pharma or specialty chemistry, and strong written/verbal communications. Travel and multi-functional collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering (e.g. Chemical Engineering).
• Minimum 8 years' experience in pharmaceutical and/or specialty chemical lab/manufacturing.
• Authorized to work in the United States full-time; visa sponsorship not provided.
• Professional engineering license preferred.
• Experience in mechanical or process engineering in multiple areas listed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Process Safety Management technical resource in the ETC.
• Provide expertise for GIPSM processes: Mechanical Integrity, Process hazards, Pressure safety.
• Review third-party pressure relief system evaluations and calculations.
• Lead diverse, multi-functional teams and support safety standards alignment.
• Support MI standardization and Asset Integrity across operations.
