Job summary

Fervo Energy is building next-generation geothermal power and is headquartered in Houston. This 12-week internship gives you a real project, scoped with your manager on day one, and a chance to drive it to completion alongside our engineering teams.

You will support the build-out of Fervo's Process Safety function, gain exposure to hazard reviews and safety standards, and present your results to executives and fellow interns at the end of the summer.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and adapt quickly to new challenges.
• Interest in process safety or industrial risk management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hazard reviews.
• Support development of safety documentation.
• Help update process safety procedures and standards.
• Participate in PHA or incident investigations.
