Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 1+ years in manufacturing, quality or design engineering (internship/project work counts).
• Flexibility to relocate to Starbase, TX.
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Establish safety tools and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency for production process planning and optimization.
• Perform risk assessments on complex industrial machinery, design SIS/SIL safety systems, and review safety code.
• Serve as the department's Laser Safety Officer (LSO).
• Conduct PFMEAs to uphold safe manufacturing processes.
• Analyze tooling and GSE for safety and load factors.
• Provide safety design guidance on high-pressure systems and attend test readiness reviews.
