The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Agricultural) and 2+ years of process safety experience, with strong leadership, problem-solving and communication

Qualifications

  • Requires Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Agricultural)
  • 2+ years of process safety experience in chemical manufacturing or agricultural processing
  • Strong knowledge of the 14 elements of Process Safety Management (PSM)
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities

Responsibilities

  • Lead the facility's Total Process Safety (TPS) program, including implementation, management, maintenance and improvement.
  • Coordinate process safety activities at Lincoln and Fremont Oilseeds facilities.
  • Lead TPS Committee and establish safety culture with goals and continuous risk reduction.
  • Conduct local Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) and participate in incident investigations; prepare safety alerts.
  • Act as Process Safety Reviewer on Management of Change (MOC) requests; support capital projects and improvements.
  • Provide TPS training to plant leadership and engineers; participate in audits and self-assessments.
