Job summary

Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a Process Safety Technician to support safety programs across multiple domains including process safety, occupational health and fire protection at our Salinas, PR location. The role involves audits, incident investigations, and development of corrective actions, with a focus on OSHA compliance and risk reduction.

The candidate will assist in implementing OSHA-related programs, participate in re-validations, and help revise procedures and training materials.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Industrial Hygiene preferred without experience.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a minimum of two years industry experience and knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.119.
Experience in writing, developing, and implementing safety programs, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

Participate in audits and assist in corrective action plans.
Develop and implement OSHA-related programs.
Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
Assist with training programs on safety topics and procedures.
Perform ergonomic evaluations and risk assessments for chemical, particulate matter, and mechanical hazards.
Review specifications and collect data to assess risk and compliance.
